Are you a newbie fisherman/wannabe angler? There are so many types of bait out there that you’re probably confused about what to use—everything from plastic to metal lures are available for you to use. However, expert fishermen know that nothing beats making use of live fishing worms. You can buy them at stores such as Leansmount Worms. Or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous, you can dig these fishing worms out yourself. But before you start excavating your backyard for bait, you just have to be sure that when you select worms to be used for fishing that you have taken into consideration the season you plan on using these worms. Remember as well as the location and appetite of the fishes you intend to catch.
If you are hunting down a striped bass, then your best option for bait would have to be a bloodworm. You have to remember that the best time for fishing for striped bass is during spring. Bloodworms are also known to work well for weakfish, winter flounder, kingfish, and porgies. This type of worm is quite thin and comes in a deep burgundy color. It can grow anywhere from two to 18 inches. If you decide to use a bloodworm, make sure to keep it in a refrigerator. You have to be careful when catching or using bloodworms though because they have a tendency to bite.
Another popular fishing worm is the Canadian Nightcrawler or lob worm. This one features tough skin and has the ability to live for a long period of time if you keep it refrigerated this segmented worm with a dull red color is usually three to four inches in length. The good thing about lob worms is they can work with different fishes in various sizes but they particularly good bait for large salmon and eels.
If those still don’t appeal to you, another popular choice to be used as fishing worm has to be the dendrobaena worm. If you can’t pronounce that, it’s dendros for short. This type of fishing worm is red or brown in color and is known to stay alive even if you don’t refrigerate it. They might even work if it is a bit hot. However, it can’t be any more than 18 degrees, though. Dendros can be used all year round if you buy them from reputable shops.
The level and functionality of IT Support services required mainly depends on the size and requirements of the company, this article will give helpful advice and things to consider when making the decision to have your IT resource in-house, or sub-contract out to an external provider.
Generally large national and international companies will have a staff base upwards of at least 50, in some case hundreds working both in their offices across the country or world, as well as working remotely in site locations. For these types of businesses it makes sense both financially and efficiency to have an in-house dedicated resource.
IT support is an important asset to any successful business, with the digital age taking a firm grip on so many aspects of society, quality IT support services are even more crucial to a modern business. Imagine if your business experiences a fairly long period of downtime, your customers will not be able to utilise your services, they will not be able to access your website or speak to a helpful member of staff. It is likely that this will then lead them to be sceptical of your company and having obvious, negative implications for the business. By using a dedicated IT support company you can ensure that you minimise, if not eradicate, any periods of technological downtime, and therefore strengthen your customer relations. The efficiency of your technological infrastructure reflects how professional your business is perceived to be.
For small to medium sized businesses that cannot afford a dedicated in-house team, outsourcing their IT support needs is critical to enjoy efficient systems without hassle cost-effectively.
The primary benefit of outsourcing your support needs is improved IT cost management, and the savings in time and money that you can realize by doing so. Whether you decide on a managed service contract or ad hoc services, outsourcing enables you to avoid a large cash outlay when something goes wrong. Speedy service is another benefit, as is having help a phone call away when problems occur.
Under a service contract, IT support in Sheffield companies monitor the server on a regular basis, running diagnostic software from a remote location to identify and address any problems proactively before they affect your system. An IT cost management contract covers all regular maintenance tasks such as security and software updates, data backup, and the provision of first-level support for your staff using phone, email and remote access.
The advantages to outsourcing are abundant, especially with regards to IT cost management. A potential negative to consider would be accessibility to services, such as an external contractor needing unrestricted access to your premises, therefore regular face to face meetings, and a strong relationship and trust in your provider is essential. As a small or medium sized business owner, outsourcing your computer support can only benefit you in terms of your IT cost management, improved efficiencies and increased productivity for your staff.
What makes an essential oil? There are dozens, and I won’t bore you by listing off every single one. I will, however, note the ones that are most popular!
- Basil oil
- Cinnamon oil
- Coffee (!!!)
- Eucalyptus oil
- Ginger oil
- Jasmine oil
- Lavender oil
- Lemon oil
- Peppermint oil
- Rose oil
- Sage oil
- Tea tree oil
- Vanilla oil
That was still a pretty long list, and to think there are so many more! You’ll note that I put a few exclamation points beside the mention of coffee, and this is for a very good reason. People usually don’t know that coffee beans can produce oil. The oil smells like your typical cup of coffee, but can be burned like incense, filling the whole room with the scent. It has been used in the past for combating depression, stings, fevers and general nausea.
Speaking of burning, did you know that you can burn most oils and it will be cheaper than one of those five dollar Glade gimmicks? This can be achieved in two ways: You can use an oil burner or the oven. It is actually remarkably easy to do. If you have an oil burner, you plug it into a socket, pour in some oil, and it will heat it and fill the room with a deep, relaxing smell.
The same steps apply for the oven. Fill an oven safe bowl with a little bit of oil, place it inside, and heat it. You will find that the smell travels through your whole house within ten to fifteen minutes. Many people opt for the oil burner and this is understandable as it is its own device and lasts much longer. You can use lavender, rose, vanilla, lemon, coffee and a few other oils for this. It is up to you and your personal preferences. I have used lemon oil in the past and was very satisfied with the results, along with a special oil packet sold at a booth that claimed it smelled like apples. It didn’t, but it did smell nice!
There’s no way I can really detail how you can use each and every single essential oil. Really, I could go on for hours with the different things you can do. Instead, I’ll set you on the right path and provide a basic list of the things you can do. You can choose yourself what you want to pursue knowing more about, and I can walk away knowing I opened a whole new world for you. This sounds fair and like a win to me!
You can use essential oils for…
- Air freshening (See, I explained this one!)
- Bathing – Pour some into your bath tonight. You will not regret the scent. Incorporate warm lighting with some candles and you’ve got yourself a relaxation spa in your own bathroom.
- Facial creams and body lotions – This is straight forward. It makes you smell nice and oils can really clear up your face. I’ve personally handled a backne problem with a lavender oil sponge.
- Floral waters – This can be nice for your baths!
- Foot and hand baths – Self explanatory, I need not woo you with this one.
- Hair care – Our hair loves oil! It can really add a slick layer to your hair if you include it with your shampoo or conditioner. Don’t use too much! Two or three drops is more than enough.
- Massage – Nothing quite like having a massage when everything smells of roses.
- Soap Making – Making Soap from soap base and oils
- Saunas – Hey, you’re sweating anyways. Might as well sweat and smell something nice while you’re at it (not to mention that some oils have health benefits!)
Go. Go and discover the wonders of essential oils. Your life will thank you for it. I promise that! You can even find me and drown me in a bath of lavender oil if not. Now that’s a promise worth believing in.
Among various type of investments, there are still so many people who become interested in making solid wood worktop investment. If you’re also the one, you can follow this instruction to install the worktop by yourself.
Fixing kit: usually after a purchase completed, most suppliers will offer their customer with a fixing kit. This kit includes almost everything you need to install the worktop, such as bolts, spacers, strips, and everything you need. It is also why you need to ask the manufacturer if they don’t have any policy in offering this kit which means you will be the one who provide all the installation stuffs. Not everyone is an expert in this field, it is why you need to check the kit and make sure that everything you need has been included in the kit. Your need may varies on different purposes, but at least you will need the basics such as bolts, foil sheets, strips etc.
Cutouts: this is the one that everyone should remember when installing wooden worktop by themselves. There should be enough space for the wood to expand. If we following the standard, then we should create a 5-mm space especially for big stuffs and 2mm smaller for small stuffs. Please note that you need to use Danish oil before completing the fitting to treat your cutouts. A ¼ cm distance is also very important to be remembered when installing a cutout. Measure it from the edge of the worktop. The purpose is to increase the stability and strength of the installed one. In order to protect the worktop from overheat, you may need to cover the wood with tape or foil.
Checks: in every installation, checking all the stuff is the most important thing that everyone should always do, including in installing a wooden worktop. Ensure that you have leveled all the appliances, especially before you move on.
Fixing the worktop: screw the worktop to the cabinets to do this. Additional support brackets may be needed if you have open top cabinets.
Joining worktops: use jointing bolts for this purpose. You can do this by drilling holes in the place where you will fasten the bolts. Please remember that you should put the jointing strip in the correct place as well as the jointing bolts. You should have this done before any sealer applied and bolts tightened.
Now, after completing the instructions, you will have your wooden worktops in place. You may need to spare some of your leisure times in a week to oil the worktop, just to make sure that everything will run well.
Managing cash-flow is essential to the long-term health of any business. The current economic climate is proving difficult for many businesses to navigate, with companies of all sizes facing the catch 22 scenario of needing cash to pay their staff and suppliers so that they can continue to fulfil orders (and generate new ones), but needing to wait for up to 30 or even 60 days for their customers to pay their invoices. Up until relatively recently, businesses could use short-term loans to bridge this gap, but these are becoming increasingly difficult and complicated to obtain. For this reason, many businesses are investigating the option of invoice factoring.
Invoice factoring is where a third party takes ownership of the payments process, essentially acting as intermediary between their client and their client’s customers. This may or may not be transparent to the end customers. Once the invoices have been verified, the factoring company will usually release 85% of the invoice amount. The remain 15% will be paid (less fees), upon the customer’s payment of the invoice.
Factoring comes in two main forms: recourse and non-recourse and it’s crucial to understand the difference. Recourse factoring means that although the factoring company will pay 85% of the amount of the invoice upfront, if the client fails to pay, it is the business which will take responsibility for the management of the debt. The business will have to pay back the amount of the advance and there may well be fees to pay. If the business is unable to pay back the advance immediately, interest may be added. Non-recourse factoring means that the factoring company will take responsibility for resolving the non-payment of invoices.
In essence recourse factoring is a loan secured against an invoice, where the factoring company takes responsibility for collecting the payment of the loan from their client’s customer. Non-recourse factoring is where a factoring company effectively buys an invoice at a (heavy) discount.
Invoice factoring is currently only available to businesses which operate in the business to business environment. Most factoring companies prefer their clients to have an annual turnover of at least £50K, although some will consider smaller companies and start-ups. Factoring companies will also look at the breadth of the customer base and the frequency of bad debts. In a nutshell, they will be looking for companies which have a broad customer base (as opposed to being reliant on two or three key customers) and where there are minimal to no issues with payment of invoices. In other words, factoring companies are looking to work with companies, which are interested in using their services to resolve cash-flow issues rather than because they are unable to manage their customers effectively.
Using a factoring company can be a useful way to keep cash flowing in a business, but this convenience comes at a price. With recourse factoring, there is the added complication of a company spending money only to discover that they need to pay it back to the factoring company and recoup the funds by other means, i.e. by chasing the debt. Non-recourse factoring provides immediate funds without the possibility of them needing to be returned, but this security carries a higher cost and will generally only be offered to customers who have next to no problems with non-payment in any case. Each company needs to do its own assessment of whether the convenience of instant payment is worth the fees involved.
